Today I was drinking my tea staring at the moon when it hit me. My memories I shared with him came crashing down like a title wave clouding my brain with bitter sweet pain. I started to speak out loud, hoping the wind would carry my message to him.. "I'm sorry America. I'm sorry I didn't consider how you were feeling when I taxed you like that. You were just a boy! Why couldn't I realize that?!" At that point I started crying "I miss you little brother. I just wish you could come back, that we could be close. I wish we didn't have to fight any longer..." I wished he could hear me somehow. Little did I know he was right behind me..

I was mortally injured today and stuck in the hospital. America came to see me with tears in his eyes. He looked very sad and slightly remorseful  I tried to tell him about all the feelings bottled up inside, all the rage, sorrow, and regret. I was trying to tell him why I fought with him when the reaper silenced me. I was in limbo for a few seconds while America was hitting my head! He joyfully claimed I was dead and went to go get drinks with the reaper. Instantly I was snapped out of my current state and America said he did that to wake me up. I'm not sure if I believe him.................

I watched as my little brother, America  held a musket to my head. He had an army around him and they all looked at me as if I was the devil. In return I held up my musket between his eyes staring into them intensely. What was I doing? He's my brother, what happened? "FIRE!" A commander yelled and they held their muskets at me as well, mimicking my brother. Yet, America signaled and they stood down as we held our guns to the other's head.
